This is the sixteenth time that the Chief Labour Inspector has given awards and distinctions to the winners of the prestigious competition organised by the National Labour Inspectorate under the name “Employer-Organiser of Safe Work”, held under the honourable patronage of the Speaker of the Polish Sejm, Bronisław Komorowski.
TEZET Sp. z o.o., the owner of the Liquid Gas Reloading Terminal in Brzeźno, was awarded the “Mecum Tutissimus Ibis” statuette and joined the “Golden List of Employers” – a list of employers recommended by the labour inspectorate as being exemplary.
The awards and distinctions were handed over by the Head of the National Labour Inspectorate, Tadeusz Jan Zając, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Labour Protection Council at the Sejm, MP Izabela Katarzyna Mrzygłocka. The Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Jolanta Fedak also gave her regards to the awarded employers, wishing them good economic results and every success in business.
After 18 years of TEZET being in business, and following 10 years of use, the Liquid Gas Reloading Terminal was thoroughly modernised and extended in 2006.
The purpose of this action was to increase the reloading capacity of the terminal up to 50,000 tons per month, and at the same time provide the maximum level of work safety. A quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000 was implemented at the terminal, as were the most modern technological and organisational solutions, exceeding the current regulations and enabling a radical limitation of the risk of a serious industrial failure and the minimisation of existing hazards to employees.
